1. How do I pick-up my goods at IIPOD?

The International Inland Port of Dallas is a public private partnership resulting in millions of square feet of warehousing, distribution and light industrial space. It is not a port like the Port of Houston. However, UP’s Dallas Intermodal Terminal does receive goods from the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach. Please contact your shipping company for more information on how to get your items.

2. What jobs are available at IIPOD?

The City doesn’t have a jobs board for opportunities available; each company within the Inland Port does its own hiring. A list of companies operating is available at the bottom of the main IIPOD page.

3. What training do I need to work in the IIPOD?

Many jobs in the logistics industry are accessible for individuals with a high school degree, a certificate or an associate’s degree. For information on programs to help you get a certificate or associates degree, please visit our training page.
