Maple/Mockingbird TIF District

The Maple/Mockingbird TIF District is located southwest of Dallas Love Field Airport and northwest of the Southwestern Medical Center. The District was created in 2008 to enhance the real estate market and encourage new investment by providing a source of funding for public amenities and infrastructure improvements. The other core goal is to redevelop underdeveloped land near employment centers, in order to take full advantage of the expanding DART light rail system, the and Dallas Love Field Airport and the Southwestern Medical District.
